NEW VIEWS
New Views is the National Theatre’s playwriting programme for 14 - 19 year olds.
This online course, written by playwright Jemma Kennedy, is accessible to everyone, young people, students and teachers, for free.
Schools can also sign up to an in-depth programme that includes CPD fo teachers, in-school workshops with professional playwrights, as well as tickets to NT productions or NT Live broadcasts. More information below.
Every year, hundreds of students from schools across the UK write th 30-minute plays, and each year one play is produced at the NT with a professional cast and crew, alongside rehearsed readings of other shortlisted plays.
